Our journey to Maine!

It was during our visit to New England in the autumn of 2019 when we first fell in love with Maine. An anniversay trip that led us to a new chapter in our story of "Life". Our discussion of moving had begun a few years prior, but the "where" part was still a question. We arrived in New England with our eyes and hearts wide open, allowing anywhere we visited to touch our hearts. Our first night was spent in Kennebunkport, Maine. I remember being so excited landing in Boston and driving the hour and a half to Kennebunkport. It was my first time in New England and I was smitten with its beauty and charm instantly. We settled into our room at the Kennebunk Inn before venturing off to savor a scrumptious seaside dinner. If you have ever had lobster mac & cheese, you know that every bite leaves you wanting more and the only place to have it is in Maine. After dinner, we strolled outside to watch the sunset over the harbor. Watching the changing colors and the reflection in the water gave us an indescribable peace. Maine was already engraving itself on our hearts.
